  • Kevin Campbell - Minister of Word and Sacrament

    The Reverend Kevin Campbell is a native of Murray, KY. However, he has lived up and down the east coast of the United States. He is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College (Mt. Vernon, GA) and Columbia Theological Seminary (Atlanta, GA). He also attended and studied at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY.) He has served in a variety of ministry settings in Georgia, North Carolina, and

    Virginia. Since March 2020, Kevin has served as either the interim or called and installed pastor of Sinking Spring. His ministry and pastoral interests focus on the history of Christian practice and spirituality and how spiritual practices form and reform Christian discipleship and the life of the Church. Kevin is married to the former Angela Price, and they have two sons. In their spare time, Kevin and Angela enjoy eating out and trying new restaurants, going to art galleries, traveling, bird watching, and riding their Trek bicycles on Virginia’s rail trails.

  • Donna Hale - Office Administrator - Email:  office@sinkingspring.org

    With over thirty-two years of experience in one-on-one customer service and office administration, Donna joined Sinking Spring in April 2014. She and Piper, the designated church dog, are present in the office Monday to Thursday, ensuring the smooth operation of the church. 

  • Joy Groves, Director of Christian Education

    Joy joined Sinking Spring in October, 2025 as Director of Christian Education. 

  • Tina Wilcox, Director of Music

    Tina resides in Woodlawn with her husband, Michael and their cat, MinYow. She is a retired music/chorus teacher from Carroll County Public Schools.  Tina has been playing the piano since second grade. She attended Radford University, graduating with B. S. in Music Education and a Bachelor of Music Therapy, studying Voice and Piano. she has been involved in Church music for more than 45 years. 

  • S. Michael Colston, Accompanist

    Michael Colston is a native of Saltville who now resides in Abingdon. Michael got his start in church music in high school by playing piano for Sunday School. A graduate of Virginia Highlands Community College and Emory and Henry College, he studied piano, voice, and organ in addition to majoring in elementary education.

    Lorrie joined Sinking Spring in December of 2025.

  • Jody Dixon - Elder - Class of 2026

    Jody is Co-chair of the church's Budget & Finance Team.

  • Laura Harris - Elder - Class of 2026

    Laura serves as Clerk of Session

  • Angie Haynes - Elder - Class of 2026

    Co-chair of the Service & Outreach Team.

    Lead coordinator for the Breaking Bread Ministry Outreach and the Blessing Box Ministry.

  • Corann Kitchen - Elder - Class of 2026

    Corann is co-chair of the Congregational Care Team, born in Georgia, married, and spent 33 years in the western US, living in multiple states.   I am also an artist and love to paint.  I am a member of the Arts Depot and the Holston Mountain Artisans.  Thus, my love for art, gardening, and cooking.  We (my husband, Walt and I) have been active  Sinking Spring Presbyterian Church members, working with the Congregational Care Team and the Session and Landscape Committee and singing in the choir.

  • Rodney Fogg - Elder - Class of 2026

    Rodney is co-chair of the Personnel Team.

  • Bucky Edmondson - Elder - Class of 2027

    Bucky is chair of the Facilities Team.

  • Staci Roark - Elder - Class of 2027

    Staci is co-chair of the Personnel Team.

  • Rose Seemuth - Elder - Class of 2027

    Rose is Chair of the Congregational Care Team.

  • Kate Shockley - Elder - Class of 2027

    Kate is co-chair of the Worship & Celebration Team.

  • Michael Wilcox - Elder - Class of 2027

    Mike serves as the Treasurer for Sinking Spring. He is also co-chair of the Budget & Finance Team and a member of the Worship & Celebration Team.

    He also volunteers in the Chancel and Handbell Choirs.

  • Mary Beverly - Elder - Class of 2028

    Mary is co-chair of the Christian Education Team

  • Kristy Davis - Elder - Class of 2028

    Kristy is co-chair of the Christian Education Team.

  • Trevor Hansard - Elder - Class of 2028

    Trevor is co-chair of the Service & Outreach Team.

  • Randy Lowe - Elder - Class of 2028

    Randy is co-chair of the Worship & Celebration Team.

  • Lucy Phillips - Elder - Class of 2028

    Lucy serves as co-chair of the Congregational Care Team and coordinates visitations for our homebound members and families.
